After Islamic revolution different discourses have been dominated in Iran. One of them was reform discourse which being raised from 1376 to 1384.Political development, freedom, civil society and democracy were main components of this discourse. Reform discourse was an answer to demographic and intellectual changes that occurred after war and in second decade of Islamic republic of Iran existence.
Since in Foucault's interpretation there is a close relation between political power and political science ,it's clear that at any point of time political literature ,specially novels can be a reflection of dominant political discourse or in contrast with it.
The purpose of this research is to describe how reform discourse components reflected in political novels between 1376 â 1384.Lucian Goldmann 's theory in sociology of literature is used as framework. Although five novels that won Yalda literal price are considered as case studies. The results show that the middle class's intellectual and value changes ,specially students and women, are reflected in this novels.
